Dt. Ahmet Uğur Balkaş practises cosmetic dentistry in Taksim, Istanbul, and has completed national and international training in digital smile design and porcelain veneers.
A 2017 graduate of Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Dentistry, Dt. Balkaş works in smile design, implantology, prosthetic dentistry and clear aligner orthodontics. He follows current technology closely and keeps developing his skills in digital dentistry.
Having treated dental tourism patients for many years, Dt. Balkaş has been seeing patients since 2022 at Loyal Dental Taksim, the clinic he co-founded. Outside dentistry he enjoys painting and sculpture, films and music.

Implants suit almost anyone in good general health with enough jawbone. If bone volume is low, a graft prepares the site. There is no upper age limit — bone and gum health are what matter.

With modern anaesthesia and minimally invasive techniques, most procedures are painless. Even for surgical procedures such as implants and root canal treatment, we follow protocols that put your comfort first; a mild painkiller afterwards is usually enough.

It depends on the treatment: teeth whitening is usually a single session, veneers and zirconia take 2–4 sessions, and implants can span a few months including healing time. At the first consultation we give you a clear timeline and number of sessions.
For implant, zirconia and veneer treatments we share the brand- and workmanship-based warranty terms in writing. With regular check-ups and proper care, we protect that warranty together.
We recommend the first check-up after the first tooth appears, and no later than around age one. Meeting early helps children like their dentist and lets us prevent decay before it starts. With our paediatric approach we keep it playful and free of fear.
